Everything Creative And Life Changes

After being  diagnosed finally  with multiple chronic pain issues and such, I have taken steps in a new direction. I won't be able to do many weddings  for photographs . I do plan to do photography work in moderation. I plan to also pursue my crafts via my Bath and Body Products, planner and memory keeping and so forth as well as classes. I will still work my rescue job as well. I am blessed to work with a very understanding boss. 

So What's new and interesting...

The online store stuff for one! Bath and Body, Planners, crafts... and growing. Also Local Classes!

Soap Making 101 will be a fun local thing for everyone to enjoy. Who doesn't love a class with take-home stuff? 

Planner! yes, Teachers, moms, homeschool, direct sales and special needs ... many can benefit from fun lively planning!

I love working with the rescue in the office. I am always looking to help find volunteers as well as direct sales people willing to do online fundraisers and such. 

I plan to collaborate further with many many local businesses. 

I would love to pursue the blog as part of my creative outlet. My issues with blogs in the past are they were one topic blogs. My brain doesn't work like that! So that's where my idea to expand to all things crafty, creative, and helpful come in. You will be able to read and get info. on tons of creative topics ... Samples, instructions, class info, items to buy, deals, giveaways..

Follow me on this path, it is bound to be interesting.

5 Cool Things For Your Hair Or Body

#1 Let's start with sea salt shampoos! We were requested to make sea salt shampoos.. It is something that made me wonder when I first heard about it but.. just kept hearing about it. Then I was requested to make it. Guess what we whipped up today .. ( yes, sea salt shampoo!)

There are 26 minerals Sea Salt that  will  give hair the softness, bounce and body we all need.  Sea salt is good for the hair due to the minerals present in it.I found this and similar info on the subject everywhere!

#2  Exfoliation is the removal of dry/dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and is one of the most important aspects of your home skincare routine for face and body.Exfoliation not only helps many skin problems, it also increases blood circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy and glowing skin.

Salt Scrubs and Sugar Scrubs have been an awesome product for us this year. We also added body wash scrub! We have added so many scents!

#3  Bath Salts ...If you're a sufferer of chronic pain related to arthritis, fibromyalgia, or muscular low back issues, this one may actually be a great help I have read.. It is said that Salt reduces swelling in cells by dehydrating them, and acts as an inhibitor of the inflammation that causes such serious pain in sufferers. This is a good thing! 

#4 Body butter !!! Body butter is made up primarily of oils and butters. Many of these natural oils and butters can penetrating the surface of the skin to help nourish and condition skin. The result is skin that is visibly smoother and silky soft. Who Doesn't want that right? 

We added body butters in recently! They are better moisturizers than lotions. 

#5  Rose Clay ! We have products with this! 

It is said that it draws out toxins and impurities from your skin. Well ... So much is new and interesting ! Where do we begin?

We are trying to accumulate cool fun facts for Facebook followers!

Saturday will make our 3rd Vassar's farm Market! please continue your small town support!

New packaging so deals on some items in mason jars!

Bathbombs, Sugar Scrubs, Soy Wax Tarts(melts) laundry and Dishwasher soaps... Oh my! 

This is fizzing bath salts! So cool! So relaxing! 

New lighter more uniform packaging will be a great help! Ask about discounted jars of salts from mason jars.

As for the farm market We have been greeted with open arms! A very helpful and friendly social environment! 

My Friend is also setting up with me some Saturdays making kids fun dough and goodies! We will also be making cleaning soaps for laundry and dishwasher! 

An Organic line will soon be available in the Birch Run outlets as well as directly through us!

We are looking to partner up with many retail shops and markets. We will be posting an updated list soon as well as working on the website! 

A sneak peek of  soy wax melt tarts to come!

According to Household Tips

"Since soybeans are vegetables, soy wax (basically made from hydrogenated soybean oil) is naturally biodegradable. Soy wax is also easier to remove from materials and other surfaces than paraffin wax."

This means our soy tarts are a good option.

Farmers Market In Vassar

We will be giving it a go at the Farmers Market in Vassar! A friend of mine and I teamed up to also do pet treats! We will be sure to update you as that goes! 

We also will have  some information coming soon about some Shampoos and Conditioners of ours that made it into the Birch Run outlets store soon! 

I will try to update you on Pennell Farms and the Davison Farmers market as well! 

We are interested to hear what products you look forward to seeing at the Vassar FM? There will be vendors in addition to the fruits and veggies. I for one am excited! We all are!

Shopping Local In Many Ways Helping Each Other

There are so many ways to shop small and support local.  

We seem to have this conversation everyday. How we want to support small business. Shopping small when we can is a goal for many of my friends.. From going to coffee at Sweetcakes Cakery to running in to ShopRite for items, to filling up our tanks when we can. We all seem to enjoy some meals in town and treats.. some stuff for the garden from the Hardware or Forever green. 

But did you know it is also equally important to shop with businesses that collaborate local? 

Say Crystal's Country Cuts LLC, she has pet shampoo from Sweet Suds By Bree. That right there helps two businesses itself. Then if you break it down further ... Sweet Suds By Bree buys coconut oil and so forth rather local.  ( small ) 

Also When you go to Sweet Cakes, the Salons, or Rebel Soul and purchase Sweet Suds By Bree Products.. Depending what you get some of the items in the finished products .. like plants, florals, special salt for salts, and other cool stuff is bought local or relatively local. ( small )  Even the honey and bee's wax is local!!!

 By this we can determine you have shopped local and the money stays local and goes full circle! One or two items may have helped  2 or 3 or 4 businesses local. 

New products are coming, fun items, cute ones, and more! Much research is going into many of these item's ingredients. Some are ingredients now being grown. Branching out to farm markets and so forth as well.

Soon Pennell Farms will also be including Sweet Suds By Bree .. I love farmers market times! Coming soon I believe we will have pet products as well in Crystals Country Cuts in Vassar!

Roses and Flowers Oh My!

Fresh Rose petals in the new scrubs and salts make them pretty as well as good for you! As always I am not a doctor nor can We claim specific properties however from research  it is said roses, rose oils, rose waters, etc have many natural beauty and anti aging qualities! Quantities will be limited on these and first come first serve. Lavender, and other florals will also be in new lines.  

It is definitely a treat to enjoy the beauty of these and be able to then put them to other good uses!

This makes a Luxurious gift for someone else or yourself! With Mothers day just around the corner .. I  can imagine this being a hit!

Belly Butter... Say What?

Belly Butter... yes... Belly Butter

Go on any beauty page and they have you running around looking for Shea butter and Coconut Oil and Vitamin E and so forth!  They tell you all about the benefits and studies on pre and post baby bellies and stretchmarks. We won't quote a bunch of those articles  Instead we shall show you what we whipped up.

We can 't make claims to medical use / advice as with FDA guidelines, however as I stated many have read countless articles on the benefits. 

The products looks like a strawberry smoothie . It is comprised of almost 70 Percent Raw Shea Butter and Coconut Oils. Beetroot powder, citrus oils, and Vit E are added a long with a small percent of a base we use that includes Aloe.  

Jars of raw Shea butter are also being made available. Shea butter plain is a cookie dough consistency. 

Jars of plain raw Shea are Available for 5 and Belly butter for 6!

I swear new stuff seems to be made weekly..

Scrubs, salts, foaming scrubs, sugar scrub soaps,  and more!

So what is a sugar scrub bar good for? Well it is a mild exfoliation bar. It is good to get all the old dead skin cells off and let your smoother skin show... Who doesn't like to have their skin look healthy? 

The soap scrub or foaming soap scrub helps to wash off the dead cells while cleaning your body! it smells soooo good too! I love the smells as these are made. It is so hard to choose what to make next! 

Bubble gum has been a very, very, very popular scent! 

Meeting a ton of great people at vendor shows, also some great people with businesses that are wanting to collaborate to have products in their shop.

Make Up... Powders.. Natural

Making this handmade is awesome for us at Sweet Suds By Bree! 

 People know what's in it is decent for them! 

Things like  Arrowroot , Mica, Beetroot, Carrot powder, Kelp, 

Alfalfa, Titanium Dioxide, Black Walnut powder, Chamomile,  and so forth!

We have even added powders and mica to certain lipbalms.  

We will blog more about the awesome things that can be added into different products later. 

According to Nature's Garden " Beets are an extremely interesting herb to include in your cosmetic recipes.  Besides all of the health benefits that beetroot has to offer, you do not necessarily have to consume the beet in order to get on the healthy track.  By just incorporating the addition of beetroot powder as an ingredient, your skin and body is able to enjoy beetroot benefits.  Are you looking for an additional bonus?  Any time that beetroot powder is used in a cosmetic or body product recipe, beets also double as a natural colorant." Colors can be lightened or darkened to visual taste. We can not guarantee a perfect match from batch to batch but close. With the slight variation you are able to pick the color for you.. from the trays. large batching will eventually happen. Other products are being developed.  

There is just something awesome about these colors! We can't say enough about the natural powders!
